2012 Another Year of Decisions

The end of 2012 found us still with the house but by the summer we had found what road we wanted to travel when it did, we owned our future home, a 5^th wheel RV. We enjoyed spending as much time away from home as possible living in the RV, we still worked and commuted daily, that fall we went on a whirlwind 6 week vacation through the VA, NC & SC experiencing mountains and beaches and enjoying each immensely. The day we headed home was very sad and long, since nothing convenient was open we left Lancaster PA early in the AM and got to our home in VT in the early evening, can’t wait until our long travel days are behind us. In December I spoke with the owners of Maplewoods Campground in Johnson where we had spent the month of August, if we didn’t have vacation planned we would have stayed till they closed in October, we have a seasonal site for 2013 and I’m going to be working for them. Maplewoods Campground opened just last year and filled up just about every weekend we were there, already the holidays are just about booked so should be a good season. It will be great to get some campground experience and we won’t be getting the house dirty so will stay in show condition.
